how to make your own Grafitti ink

Although many people look down on graffiti, it has actually played an essential part in the history of the world. The only known example of the Safaitic language, which existed around 1 B.C., are graffiti markings. In fact, the earliest known rendition of Jesus Christ is a graffiti work of art. With all of this rich history, it is no wonder people still enjoy practicing the art. Buying ink can be a hassle, however, and can slow down artists in the process. Luckily, using only a few household items, you can make your very own graffiti ink and never be slowed down by having to stop at the store for refill.

Things You'll Need:

  • Rustoleum Oil Paint
  • Brake Fluid DOT-3
  • Bottle with lid (to mix in)
  • Paint thinner (optional)

  1. Step 1
Put on your rubber gloves and get all of your materials ready. You do not want to have to clean this ink off of your hands
    .

  2. Step 2
Pour some brake fluid into the bottle. The amount you pour in will depend on how drippy you want your ink to be. More brake fluid will make the ink drippier and cause the ink to dry slower. Your bottle should only be big enough to hold as much ink as you want to keep around. Fill the bottle 1/8 to 1/5 of the way full with brake fluid.

  3.  Step 3
Add the Rustoleum oil paint to the brake fluid. The amount you add will vary once again by how drippy you want the ink, and the size of the bottle. A lot of paint will counteract the amount of brake fluid. A good measurement would be to fill the bottle 3/4 of the way full with the paint.

  4. Step 4
Place the cap on the bottle and shake vigorously to ensure it is completely mixed. Once you have shaken the bottle for a minute or so, remove the lid and pour some of the ink into your graffiti marker. Test the marker to see if you are happy with the consistency of the ink.

  5. Step 5
Make any adjustments you deem necessary. If the ink is too thin and drippy, just add some more paint to the mixture. If the ink is too thick, you can add more brake fluid, or even paint thinner at this point. After making the necessary adjustments, replace the cap and shake vigorously again. After shaking, test the ink in your marker again.

  6. Step 6
Continue the process until you have the desired consistency, and then pour all of the ink into your marker. If you have leftover ink, just put the top on the mixing bottle and store it for another time. If you do not have a graffiti marker, you can use an old empty shoe polish bottle as your marker.

  7. Step 7
After using your ink to draw graffiti, wash off the head of your marker if you are using a shoe polish bottle. Otherwise the ink will dry up after a few days and harden.

-Don't change on me. Don't extort me unless you intend to do it forever.

-I just spent 11 and a half months in a maximum-security jail, got shot five times, and was wrongly convicted of a crime I didn't commit.

-I would rather have been shot straight-up in cold blood-but to be set up? By people who you trusted? That's bad.

Nikon D60

The D60 is the third incarnation of Nikon's compact, user-friendly entry-level SLR line that started back in 2006 with the D40 (which replaced the first Nikon 'starter' model, the D50). The original D40 was a hugely important camera for Nikon and can be given a lot of the credit for the resurgence in Nikon's fortunes at the volume end of the SLR market (which had been totally dominated by Canon since the launch of the EOS 300D / Digital Rebel). The D40's success (which continued long after the D40X made its swift appearance only 6 months later) isn't hard to explain; it was keenly priced, nicely designed and built and capable of excellent results. It was also a camera that proved cameras do not sell on megapixels alone (even at launch its 6MP resolution was far from 'class leading').

Nikon D3000

Nikon has also unveiled the D3000, its latest compact DSLR. It will be the company's least expensive DSLR and inherits the 10.2 MP DX-format CCD sensor and 3fps continuous shooting rate from the D60. It also adds a larger, 3.0 inch LCD and the 11-point AF system with 3D tracking we saw in the D5000 and D90. Targeted towards beginners and experienced compact users, the camera features a new Guide mode to help learn how to get the most out of a DSLR. The recommended selling price will be $599 with 18-55mm VR lens.

NIkon D5000 DSLR Review
The recent boom in DSLR sales has seen all the major manufacturers adding bulked-up or stripped-down entry level models, repositioning their offerings to make sure that anyone willing to put up with the size and weight of a DSLR will look at one of their models. The whole thing has often left existing DSLR owners a little lost - 'why isn't there a direct replacement for my camera?' - but has undoubtedly meant there are many more attractive, accessible cameras on the market just waiting to entice first-time DSLR owners.

How To Remote-Start Your Car Using Little More Than A $10 Cell Phone

A man named Dave has wired a cell phone into his car so the whip can be started from any part of the globe.  useless, yes. But also very, very Boss.

Phone-driven remote-start technology is nothing new. Car-alarm companies have been experimenting with it for years, and one has even brought a viable, iPhone-based solution to market. The expense, however, keeps most people away. One man's solution does away with the costly hardware and requires little more than a $10 cell phone and a cheap aftermarket remote-start box. The result lets you start your car from anywhere you can make a phone call, and it enables the phone's calendar and alarm settings to enact timed engine starts without your help.

Dangaaaa, Hes' out

After six years on lockdown, multi-platinum rapper Mystikal was freed from prison on th fifteenth. The New Orleans native called into radio host Wayne Williams show to confirm the news yesterday evening. In the interview Mystikal joked, saying he heard so many of the false reports of him being free that he thought he was free as well.
Mystikal revealed that he wrote a lot while in prison and that he is ready to get back in the game. “Wait ‘til I shake the world up now. I want reparations.” According to the rapper, he has one more album left on his Jive Records contract.
In 2003, Mystikal accepted a plea to the sexual batter and extortion charges he faced. As part of the deal he was sentenced to six years in prison.

Keri Likes Regular guys

Keri Hilson is rocking the cover of Jet this week and in her interview she dishes on the time of man that can turn her on and those who are constantly turning her off.
What Keri Wants ...
I like an average guy, A forward thinking guy. He doesn't have to be rich but he must be working towards something. And he can't be complacent. I like a man who can stimulate me mentally. We can sit here and talk about politics and religion. I like a guy who is wise who can stimulate me with conversation. Conversation is everything, that's what holds a relationship together.
What Keri Doesn't want....
I don't fancy entertainers or ball players. I just don't want to be anybody's trophy. They can't handle a girl like me. I think I'm too much for another entertainer or ball player. The type of girl they look for is not me at all. They like a soft spoken, submissive type who is cute and just wants to spend their money. Of course that's not all of them, but that's usually the tone of the conversation that I've had with them. 'You thought I was that girl? Well good to meet you,' and I walk away. I was raised better than that. I know what a relationship looks like from my parents. I want the real thing.

That sounds great for the average everyday guy out there who loves Ms. Keri Baby. Unfortunately for you she already has a man.

How to and how to not Steal Mac Computers

How not to

Video Courtesy of KSL.com

MURRAY -- A man crashed into a Mac computer dealer early Friday morning, stealing thousands of dollars of merchandise. Police are still looking for the suspect.
There is broken glass everywhere at the front of the ExperCom at 256 E. 6400 South in Murray, and the frame is completely knocked out. The owner says that is what's most upsetting.
Around 3:20 Friday morning, a man seen in surveillance video backed into the store. He used a black truck and rammed the back end into the store twice. He then jumped out of the vehicle and ran into ExperCom, grabbing the on-display Apple computers.
He didn't bother to unplug any cords, so he struggled to get the monitors free. Several times throughout the video, the man can be seen nearly falling over tables and tripping over cords.
He made three runs into the store and loaded everything in the back of the truck. Then he drove away.
The security company called the owner, Roger Smith, right after the alarm sounded. When he arrived, he couldn't believe the damage, especially to have it happen right before Christmas.
"The biggest problem was the opportunity cost. This loss of the last two weeks, it looks like they're not going to be able to get us up and going for a week or two. And we just lose the best time of year for us. It's just really an opportunity loss," he said.
Once police arrived on scene, they went through the store with flashlights, looking for any evidence that could lead them to the identity of the thief. Obviously, the surveillance video will be a great tool in zeroing in on the man. Detectives say they might be able to zoom in on the license plate of the truck.
The owner says damage to the building is probably around $10,000. As for the lost equipment, that totals around $6,000 in merchandise.
Smith cannot figure out why someone would cause so much damage for so little equipment. He says he would have rather given the man cash than go through this.
If you see any black truck with significant back-end damage or recognize the suspect call Murray police at 801-840-4000.

3 inches of blood nike 6.0 oncore

The band chose Nike 6.0’s new Zoom Oncore High to translate their soundtrack of mayhem. Inspired by Viking folklore and mythical carnage, 3IOB worked with the product team on custom materials and colors. The upper, constructed with premium distressed battle-worn leather is mixed with sanguine accents and the muted greens of rot and pestilence. Metallic side panels simulate blades of battle-axes, while the blood-red outsole and tongue are an ode to the band’s name…”

The 3G capable BlackBerry 9700, rumored to have a completely unconfirmed November 11 launch date on T-Mobile, was recently spotted lounging around on some bloke's floor.
And that's pretty much it for now. Last we reported on this phone the release date was unconfirmed but realistic (November 11), the touch-based track pad was interesting, and it was T-Mobile's first 3G BlackBerry.
Also, the rumored specs are below, should you choose not to Google them:
• New Trackpad
• Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
• UMTS/HSDPA
• 480×360 resolution screen
• OS 5.0
• QWERTY keyboard
• 3.2 megapixel AF camera
• Bluetooth

How To: Install Homebrew On Palm Pre 1.2.1

WebOS 1.2(.1) is here, and yes: It broke homebrew. Amazingly, it only took devs about two days to bounce back. Here's how to bring hundreds of free apps, tweaks and themes to your Pre, without flashing your firmware.

Why Homebrew?

Paid apps are due in the official App Catalog any day now—actually they're running a little late—meaning that the app selection is probably about to get a lot wider, and basically better. But webOS development is limited in scope, and App Catalog applications will never be able to theme your device, access 3D APIs that aren't in the MojoSDK, change your homescreen layout, or add an onscreen keyboard.

Pre homebrew is as much about adding apps that Palm has been so slow to approve as it is tweaking your handset. Think of it like jailbreaking an iPhone, except that it's easier to do, and the benefits are much, much greater.

(This guide owes a huge debt to the PreCentral forums, where the developer of WebOS Quick Install, with others, have collected most of the necessar

y resources. Recognition is nice, but donations are better. If you find WebOS Quick Install useful, send Jason a few bucks.)

What You Need

Some downloads! The only app you'll need to run on your computer is a Java app, so it's completely cross-platform. This guide should work for Windows, Mac or Linux.

1. WebOS Quick Install:

This is the desktop program that effectively opens up your Pre for business. It's got quite a b

it of power on its own, but one of its greatest talents is the ability to install package managers like Preware, which make installing homebrew apps to

your Pre, from your Pre super-easy.

2. WebOSDoctor ROM (Sprint, Bell): This is just a restoration ROM for webOS, which WebOS Quick Install needs to work. It should be saved into the same di

rectory as WebOS Quick Install,

then left alone.

3. Java SE 6: Make sure you've got Java 1.6, or SE

6, so you can run these apps properly.

And one trick:

4. Dev Mode: Switching your Pre to dev mode is either so

rt of fun or sort of tedious, depending on your capacity for nostalgia.

All you have to do is type "upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart" on the keypad. That'll open a search query that'll uncover a new app on your Pre called "DeveloperMode." Run it, and it'll switch your phone into, you guessed it, developer mode.

Running WebOS Quick Install

5. Plug your Pre into your computer. When prompted for connection type, select "Just Charge"

6. Open WebOS Quick Install, making sure that the WebOSDoctor ROM is in the same directory as the Quick Install JAR.

You'll get this message:

Heed it.

7. When you reopen WebOS Quick Install, you'll be prompted to choose which kind of device you want to access. Choose "USB Device," which'll install the drivers necessary to crack into a physical Pre, not just an emulator.

8. Follow the driver installation prompts through to completion.

9. Open WebOS Quick Install again. You should see the app's home screen. Click on the bottom button in the right panel, as indicated here:

10. Select "WebOS-Internals Feed (all)" from the download list. Select both "Package Manager Service" and "Preware" from the resulting list. These will enable you to download and apply the tweaks and apps you want.

11. After download, they will be added to the previously empty list in the app's homescreen, where you should highlight both, then click "Install".

There you go!

Getting the Most Out Of Homebrew

Now that you're set up and ready to go, it's time to do stuff. Launch the Preware app on your Pre—at first load, it takes a while to sync up with all the repositories, so be patient—and explore the 200+ apps included by default. (You can add other repositories on your own, but most of the good stuff is already here.)

The "Package Manager Service" installation doesn't just enable downloads through Preware—it enables a whole range of WebOS Quick Install tweaks, which you can access through the Tools ->Tweaks menu. WebOS Quick Install may prompt you to install a few patches; just go along with it, it'll only take a second.

Once you're in the panel, you'll see a wealth of useful tweaks, from a 4-icon-wide app launcher, to a browser ad-blocker, to a user agent string changer, so your Pre asks for snazzier iPhone mobile pages instead of standard mobile fare. Generally, each tweak will restart your Pre.

Themes are managed either through Preware, which has a selection of over 200 that you can install with a single button press, or through the WebOS Quick Install menu, at Tools -> Themer. To install a new theme from WebOS Quick Install, you'll have to manually download from an external site, which you'll be directed to automatically. Once you've downloaded the theme, it's just a matter of loading it into the app. Preware is probably your best bet for this, though there isn't really a way to find out if a theme is any good without actually trying it.

As for that onscreen keyboard? You can install that through WebOS Quick Install: It's in the same place you found Preware, in the "WebOS-Internals Feed (all)" section of the package downloader. A word of warning: It's only officially supported up to WebOS 1.2.0, so you might be best advised to wait a few days until the developers have worked out any bugs with 1.2.1.

Anyway, the Pre Homebrew community is rich and fast-moving, so I'll let you all take it from here. Some great resources to get you started:

Samsung Behold II Hits T-Mobile, Pairs Android with TouchWiz Interface

Wow, another T-Mobile Android phone (Sprint's HTC Hero is the only Android-handset on another carrier). The Behold II has a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, and TouchWiz UI (now with 3D cube menu for quick access to multimedia).

Those multimedia features include music, photos, videos, the Web, YouTube, and Amazon MP3 for music downloads. The phone's other key specs include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, microSD card expandable memory (up to 16GB), and support for Google services and Exchange ActiveSync.

With a completely new OS compared to the original Behold(and even the upgraded Memoir), it's kind of strange that Samsung kept the Behold name. Especially when it resembles the Android powered Samsung Galaxy. Still, there you have it. T-Mobile hasn't gone into pricing, but did say the Behold II would arrive "before the start of the holidays."
